End of world

Recently, i read about bunkers being built to save a lucky few (those who can afford) from end of world. If it was the end of the wold, how do you think they can be saved?

I heard the bunkers are built to handle nuke wars, earthquakes and storms. Am not sure it can handle stupidity though. Anyway, it's funny how scared we are of death......
